CrystalFace (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

a) User Content

Photos and videos you upload to perform face swapping and face enhancement.
When creating an identity, we keep less than 1 KB of numerical feature representations for processing and do not store the face image itself.

If you sign in with Firebase, we may collect your email address.

c) Analytics & Advertising Data

We use third-party services to improve the app and serve ads:

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

Apply face-swapping and face-enhancement effects to uploaded media.
Provide app functionality and improve user experience.
Support analytics and advertising through trusted third-party tools.

We do not sell, trade, or share your photos or videos for other purposes.

3. Data Storage & Retention

Uploaded photos and videos are stored securely for up to 24 hours and then permanently deleted.
Subscription information, processing logs (like counts of face swaps), and identity feature data (1 KB per identity) are stored as needed.
No one, including us, can access your uploaded photos or videos.
Since most user data is automatically deleted, general deletion requests for photos/videos are not applicable.

4. Account Deletion

Since CrystalFace does not permanently store user profiles or uploaded media, most data is automatically deleted within 24 hours.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the services listed above (Firebase, Google Analytics, AdMob, Meta, AppLovin).

These providers may process some of your information under their own privacy policies.

All communication is encrypted using HTTPS.
Data stored in Firebase is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Our backend processing server is not publicly accessible and protected against unauthorized access.

7. Children’s Privacy

CrystalFace is intended for general audiences and may be used for entertainment by people of all ages.
If you are under the age required by your country’s laws to use online services without parental consent, please use the app only with a parent or guardian.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have rights to:

Access information we have about you.
Correct inaccurate information.
Request restrictions on processing.

Since we do not permanently store most user media or account data, some rights (like deletion of photos/videos) may not apply.

Updates will be shown via a popup inside the app and hosted on this page.
